Reigning Nigerian Singer, Zinoleesky, has moved to proclaim himself the “Amapiano King.”
The Celebrity made this outlandish claim via a viral tweet on Thursday morning.
“Zinoleesky’s Amapiano🎵 King.
“Even Popsi knows,” Zinoleesky declared.
The singer’s proclamation has sparked a heated debate on social media with some backing his claims, while others have dismissed it totally.
At the moment, there is a big social argument as to who really owns the ‘amapiano’ sound.
The South Africans argue that they own it, while their Nigerian counterparts in the music industry think otherwise.
Many have since come forward to lay claim to being the originator of Amapiano.

Even once-upon-a-time Music star, May D, has claimed he brought Amapiano into existence.
Followers of Nigerian female Music star, Niniola, argue that it is her who really owns Amapiano.
Now, Zinoleesky, who is signed on to Marlian Records, has added to the burning flames by sparking another argument with his claims.
One thing is for sure, though: No one can unarguably lay claim to being the originator of Amapiano, even though music fans certainly love the distinct melody of the genre.
