He made this declaration while fielding questions in the aftermath of his side’s shock 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Many fans were both shocked and perplexed that the Croatian outfit, not only ran out winners, but kept a clean sheet in the process.
However, Tuchel has warned that his side will bounce back and prove critics wrong.
“We are not finished,” Tuchel blasted after the loss.
“We are not happy with our results and we are not happy with the way we play in general.
“I’m angry with myself and I’m angry with our performance,” the German admitted.
When asked by reporters if his side will be given some time off to rest and recuperate ahead of their next match against Fulham in the English Premier League (EPL), Tuchel was having none of that sentiment.
“There’s no days off don’t worry.
“No, no days off, there cannot be a day off at the moment,” Tuchel insisted.
Chelsea’s start to the season has been far from the markmany expected of them with wins becoming a rarity and draws and losses more rampant.
Tuchel will, now, view his club’s next match against Fulham as an opportunity to bounce back from this dreadful trend of results.
