Protesters invaded the Sri Lanka Presidential Palace in Colombo on Saturday afternoon.

In an unprecedented event, the aggrieved protesters called for the immediate resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Sources, however, confirmed that the President and his Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe, were not in the building during the invasion.

“They are both in a safe place,” the source divulged.

During the invasion, protesters were caught on tape making use of the facilities and equipment within the palace.

While many worked out in the Presidential Gym, others made their way to the kitchen to fill up their bellies on premium quality Presidential food!

The dissatisfaction among the masses regarding this administration has been laid bare for quite some time now.

Only hours earlier, the home of the Prime Minister was set ablaze by a group of angry protesters.

Following the unrest, both President and Prime Minister are reportedly set to resign on July 13th to ensure a “peaceful transition.”

Teyru has laid hands on the video footage of the Palace invasion and packaged it for download.
