Former Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, looks set to receive help as a stranger has offered his kidney to his ailing daughter.
The silver lining came on Monday night when a Nigerian took to Twitter to indicate his interest in helping Sonia Ekweremadu (Ike’s daughter) with his kidney.
It is no longer news that Sonia has a serious kidney issue she has been diagnosed with.
She recently took to social media to cry for help and beg for a kidney donor.
Twitter user, @Mr_Ebuka10, responded to the call by indicating his interest in being that kidney donor.
“How I wish to see His Excellency Dr Ike Ekweremadu or family, to know more about her daughter’s critical condition, then I’ll donate mine by God’s grace as long as she will live,” Ebuka began.
“Provided also I’ll still be alive, healthy and live long enough, I’m in for the support,” Ebuka declared.
It has not been confirmed, though, if the Ex Senate President and his family have received this potentially good news or not.
In any case, tests will still need to be carried out to test the compatibility of any kidney donor.
