Sources confirm that Potter’s negotiations with Chelsea to become their new manager is at advanced stages.
Only yesterday, Brighton gave Chelsea the permission to speak to their Manager about a possible transfer.
This comes after the London club sacked their Manager, Thomas Tuchel, in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deal for Potter is believed to be so close that it could be completed with the next couple of hours.
It is believed that Chelsea was Potter in the dugout for their crunch London derby against free scoring Fulham FC.
