Manchester United have seen their transfer proposal for German Goalkeeper, Kevin Trapp, turned down.

The Frankfurt FC of Germany shot-stopper communicated his decision to reject the offer on Thursday morning.

While tweeting, he hailed United as a “world top club,” but insisted he would not be open to moving to Old Trafford.

“I received a written proposal from Manchester United – world top club.

“Yesterday, I informed those responsible at both clubs that I had decided stay at Eintracht Frankfurt,” Trapp informed.

This decision puts United at a disadvantage in their search for a new goalkeeper to rival incumbent, David De Gea.

Trapp comes highly rated haven led his side to last season’s Europa League triumph.

He has also been shortlisted in the World Goalkeeper of the Year shortlist after a very remarkable season.
