Arsenal Football Club had Gabriel Jesus to thank for not losing their Preseason game, today, Friday.

The North London club squared up against German 2nd division outfit, FC Nürnberg, in a preseason matchup that ended 5-3 in favour of Arsenal.

The German team raced to a 2goal first half win in a result that shocked many viewers.

In came new acquisition from Manchester City, Gabriel Jesus, in the second half, in a number of quick fire changes by Manager, Mikel Arteta.

Within 90seconds of being introduced, Jesus pulled one back for the Gunners with a lovely goal in the 47′ minute mark.

This served as the boost the London club needed as, soon, Elneny levelled matters in the 54th minute.

By now, the tide had shifted as two own goals by Nürnberg saw Arsenal race to a two goal cushion

The German club were not one to go out without a fight as they reduced the deficit to 1 in the 73rd minute making the scores. 3-4 to Arsenal.

Jesus was not content with that and decided to perform another magic two minutes later (75′) with a well taken goal to hand Arsenal a 5-3 win!

Arsenal fans could barely hide their excitement post match, with compliments pouring in praising the striker’s effort in his debut game.

The Gunners had completed a £45 million deal for the former Man City forward just days ago.
