I.G of Police Launches Investigation On Singer Portable

The Nigerian Inspector General (I.G) of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, has directed a thorough investigation be carried out on Singer, Portable and his supposed criminal enterprise.

The Police Spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed this to newsmen via a statement on Monday.

This follows after the Singer had publicly declared being the founding father of the notorious criminal gangs, “One Million Boys” and “Ajah Boys.”

According to Adejobi, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has been tasked with investigating the truth behind the singer’s claims.

“Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.

“This directive is premised on the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society,” the statement from the Force read.

The controversial artiste had, earlier, come under the Police searchlight, after boasting of being the originator of the two deadly criminal groups via a video that trended.

“Listen to me well, have you heard about Ajah Boys, One Million Boys, I’m their founder,” Portable had declared in the video.

The Headies Awards-nominated singer even went as far as telling the public to “ask Sammy larry,” just in case they doubted his claims.

Further details on this intriguing dram will be delivered to you as they unfold.
