Chelsea FC has finally agreed a fee for Leicester City defender, Wesley Fofana.
This much was confirmed by top transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, late Saturday morning.
A fee of £75milliom (including add-ons) was agreed between Chelsea and Leicester on Friday.
Fofana will now put pen to paper on a 6yr deal that runs until the summer of 2028.
The deal sees the Frenchman earn an impressive £200,000 in weekly wages.
Final documents are now being exchanged between both clubs ahead of Official announcements.
This lays to rest one of the most protracted transfer sagas of this window.
Fofana has been instrumental, in no small way, in this deal materializing.
The ball playing defender had voiced his dissatisfaction when Leicester kept rejecting Chelsea’s overtures, missed training sessions, missed games and was ultimately demoted to the Development Squad to train as punishment.
All that is over now as the defender finally gets what he describes as his “dream move.”
