Alt-J is a unique band formed in Leeds, United Kingdom (UK), in 2007, by Joe Newman, Thom Sonny Green, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Gwilym Sainsbury.
Their debut album in 2012, “An Awesome wave,” was an instant hit.
It won the British Mercury Prize in the same of its release.
