Nigerian Music star, Wizkid, has just won the award for “Best Collaboration” at the 2022 BET Awards.
The African music great bagged the award at the ceremony holding at Los Angeles, U.S.A.
He came tops in his category via his mega hit, “Essence,” which featured Nigerian Music act, Tems.
It was indeed Tems who picked up the award on stage due to Wizkid’s absence at the event.
The award recognition comes as a boost to Nigerian music and African music at large.
This latest success to the most populous black nation on earth follows up on Burna Boy and Wizkid’s Grammy awards recently.
